Sofya Ershova

Sofya was born in Vladivostok, Far East of Russia, where she was extensively trained in dance. 

She moved to NYC, where she choreographed for award-winning ballet dancers and rhythmic gymnasts. After moving to Los Angeles, she has focused on bringing Pilates and mobility training not only to the dance community, but to post-rehabilitation clientele as well. 

Sofya is a third-generation certified Pilates teacher through White House Pilates and has earned her Master of Arts in Economics at Soka University of Japan. Sofya continues her Pilates training under second-generation Master Pilates teacher Eva Texido Font and has had the privilege to train with Jean-Claude Nelson. Sofya's certifications include White House Pilates classical comprehensive teacher training program, Pilates for dancers (Basi Pilates), prenatal and postpartum Pilates for pregnancy and FRA (functional range conditioning).
